more bad news

it doesn’t get much worse

I realized recently that I have been lukewarm, double minded and in heaviness through divers and manifold temptations.

now I see clearly that I have been disobedient, rebellious, and have been deceived.

The good news is that I am learning to count trials and tribulations all joy, and I am able to receive any and all rebuke and chastening with thanksgiving and by greatly rejoicing.

There has been a constant flow of revelation like a flowing river.

I wanted to turn over a new leaf and to make a change.

I recognize there have been many changes.

I believe many more are coming.

….. a little change …..a bigger change …..a number of changes? ……”a transformation?”

I believe that if  I choose to change a little, that Jesus will change me a lot.

I believe that it is possible for many others too.

Again, meet me at Matthew 18:19-20.

we can review Matthew 11:28-29, John 8:12 and Revelation 3:18-22.

“Can older adults and other seniors and elders be changed?”

“I believe so.”

But who desires change and changes?

Who will learn to be righteous?

and be perfect . . . . . eh!

“Anyone following these elder changes postings besides me?”

Life is soon to be, a whole new ball game for many of us . . . . . eh!

2 Corinthians 7:1 tells us
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

let’s come clean

Thank You Lord Jesus for teaching me patience and for giving me contentment.

“Do senior matters matter?”

Senior matters matter to how many people here in Saskatchewan?
Do seniors matter much in your neck of the woods . . . . . eh?
Do seniors matter in your mind?
. . . . . in your heart?

Are senior’s issues a concern to you Sir?   . . . . . to you Ma’am?

As a senior and as a soon to be elderly person I can often say, “Yes I’ve been there and Yes I’ve done this and I’ve done that.” I’ve had my successes and experienced failures too.

Yet, I’m still hoping to be taught and to learn a lot more and then be enabled to share.

I’ve asked for a guest house and waited.

I’m ready to ask again.

I made a batch of home made yogurt yesterday. It turned out well after 7 and 1/2 hours.  A senior’s cook book strikes me as a worthwhile venture seeing that people too often eat poorly and could greatly benefit from some correct information and understanding if put together with practical tips. A good diet is a challenge these days but could be rewarding.

“Would anyone like a senior’s cook book?”

Would you come to visit me for a day or two to experience first hand good food and . . . . .

Just finished 120 x 5 x 8 = 4800 steps to start off my day. I will do more steps throughout the day and 5 x 2 x 5-10 = 50 to 100 flights of stairs up and down. Add some stretches and a few exercises to keep the quads and hamstring muscles strong and flexible.

“Who would like to stay healthy and well into their late 70s and on into their 80s and 90s?”

> . . . . . that we might have hope

that we

> through patience

> and comfort of the scriptures

> might have hope.
– Romans 15:4

Forgive me for saying the same thing and similar things over and over again.

Forgive me for repeating myself.

Let us meet again at Matthew 18:19-20

Will you take time to review Romans 10:10, Romans 12:1-3 and Romans 14:17 with me.

Lord Jesus, please teach us to repent properly. – Ezekiel 14:6 and Revelation 3:19.

I believe You are able to succour them that are tempted including me. – Hebrews 2:18

Thank You for the assurances of 1 Corinthians 10:13:                                                       >God will not suffer us to be tempted above that ye are able                                               > > but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,                                                                                 > > that ye may be able to bear it.

Christ in you < and in each of us > is the hope we have of glory.                                          > come see    Colossians 1:27   >   and decide if you, I and one other can agree.

Lord Jesus, guide us individually and collectively to the < spiritual > understanding needed that we may < present every man perfect in Christ Jesus >.         – Colossians 1:28

Thank You Father and thank You Lord Jesus for leading us!

I’m still hoping to overcome

Why I’m still hoping to overcome and why I believe that I will and that I will soon:

Although I have my many errors and faults and defects pointed out to me regularly,

Though I’m lukewarm and still double minded and often in heaviness through manifold temptations, I know in my heart and I believe that “He is faithful that promised”                                         – Hebrews 10:23

Frequently, I read Jeremiah 17:5, 17:9 and 17:10 but I also read Jeremiah 29:13.

“for the same Lord is rich unto all that call upon him”  -Romans 10:12

A few months ago, I believe the Lord Jesus said softly and encouragingly to me: “I will hold your hand” – Isaiah 42:6

Today, March 28, 2013, between 5:00 am and 6:00 am, I wrote out a lengthy posting with pen and paper.

The internet connection is often faulty these days and a little wheel goes spinny, so I’ll just wait and finish this posting later
